Emerging Issues in Primary Care

This home study activity is based on content presented at the 2009 PCE Symposia Series 2, which was developed specifically for NPs and PAs. This educational workbook focuses on frequent challenges in primary care medicine, including management of type 2 diabetes, adult and adolescent immunizations, fibromyalgia, neuropathic pain, acute coronary syndrome, menstrual migraine, and osteoporosis, and presents solutions that can be incorporated into your practice.

This activity consists of 8 sections and offers a maximum of 8.0 contact hours by the Continuing Nursing Education Provider Unit, Boston University School of Medicine or 8.0 hours of AAPA Category I CME credit by the Physician Assistant Review Panel.

Links are provided for each home study section with additional Q & A from the live symposia, self-assessment questions, and evaluation forms for CE/CME credit.
