Enhancing Care in Moderate to Severe Psoriasis: Healthcare Disparities – Part 3

Video

Differences in disease presentation, genetic factors, distribution, and severity, as well as access to care, can influence diagnosis and treatment selection for those with skin of color. To treat psoriasis effectively in diverse populations, dermatology healthcare professionals need to be aware of variable manifestations and be culturally competent to approach psoriasis with sensitivity to specific concerns in non-White patients. In this webcast, dermatology experts discuss strategies for decreasing health disparities and optimizing care for all with psoriasis.
