NPs and PAs practicing in gastroenterology

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
  • Integrate clinical evidence, recent real-world data, current guidance, and patient preferences into individualized treatment plans for patients with IBD

  • Incorporate evidence-based strategies for IBD treatment de-escalation that may include dose reduction or drug discontinuation once sustained remission has been achieved

  • Devise a plan for long-term management of IBD that includes treatment of extraintestinal manifestations and treatment AEs
