Learning Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be better able to:

  • Identify current guideline recommendations for initiation and intensification of dyslipidemia treatment

  • Discuss the mechanisms of action and place in therapy of nonstatin pharmacologic options for dyslipidemia

  • Design individualized treatment plans for patients with dyslipidemia that incorporate shared decision-making, access considerations, and adherence strategies
