Expanding Options for Managing Migraine

Interactive Video Lecture

In recent years, the treatment landscape for migraine has expanded immensely—and now includes triptans, gepants, and CGRP antagonists, among others. With the expansion in medication options, choosing the optimal agent for your patient can be complex. In this video lecture, an expert breaks down the various available drug classes, their indications, and comorbidities and patient factors that may influence migraine treatment choice. Also discussed are signs and symptoms to be aware of in migraine diagnosis, the difference between acute and chronic migraine, and nonpharmaceutical strategies to complement pharmaceutical treatment.
