Program Description
In this podcast, Corinne R. Young, MSN, FNP-C, FCCP, provides a summary of key points addressed by expert faculty during a live webinar on optimizing idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) care focusing on timely diagnosis, proper referrals, and pharmacologic and nonpharmacologic treatment options. The discussion concludes with a review of the importance of shared decision-making when treating patients with IPF.

- Identify the signs and symptoms of IPF to make an accurate diagnosis and referral earlier in the course of disease

- Apply effective communication and shared decision-making skills during patient visits
