In this episode, Dr Karl Doghramji, Medical Director at the Jefferson Sleep Disorders Center in Philadelphia, discusses orexin receptor antagonists—the newest class of pharmacologic agents for the treatment of insomnia. He also provides guidance on how to recognize signs, symptoms, and risk factors that should trigger screening, differentiating between the different types of sleep disorders, and lifestyle measures that should be part of any treatment.
