Overactive bladder (OAB) affects more than 33 million Americans, both men and women. These individuals are more likely to have reduced quality of life, including disrupted sleep and impaired mental health. OAB is also associated with dermatitis, urinary tract infections, and increased risk for falls and fractures. This home study activity reviews the current scope of the problem and provides the latest evidence-based approaches for diagnosis, treatment, and improving patient adherence to behavioral and medical therapies.
