Nocturnal polyuria, defined by multiple awakenings at night to urinate, is a prevalent condition seen mostly in older adults. It negatively impacts sleep, quality of life, and daytime productivity, and is associated with an increased risk of falls and accidents. In this CE/CME eCourse, two expert clinicians discuss a collaborative approach to this often underdiagnosed and undertreated condition. A video patient-case simulation is interwoven into the discussions to illustrate key points in screening, diagnosis, patient counseling, and effective behavioral and medical treatment strategies.

- Incorporate diagnostic tools to assess for nocturia and nocturnal polyuria and plans to educate patients on the use of bladder diaries
