Target Audience

This proposed educational program is intended for cardiology and pulmonary NPs and PAs who care for patients with pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH).

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Determine patient need for guideline-directed diagnostic workup for PAH based on clinical presentation 

  • Construct a guideline-directed, personalized initial treatment plan for a patient with PAH

  • Outline evidence for emerging therapy approaches under investigation for management of PAH

  • Apply communication strategies that support shared decision-making with patients and personalization of PAH management plans
