Target Audience

This activity is intended for nurse practitioners and physician associates in primary and specialty care practices who treat patients with Sjögren’s.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge and competence of learners in accurate diagnosis, evidence-based treatment, and management of patients with Sjögren’s.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

Summarize pathophysiologic pathways and components associated with Sjögren’s and their potential role as therapeutic targets
Use evidence-based biomarkers, tools, and criteria to identify associated risk factors and properly diagnose patients with Sjögren’s
Evaluate the safety and efficacy of emerging disease-modifying therapies for Sjögren’s
