Target Audience
This educational activity is intended for NPs and PAs who diagnose and care for patients with pulmonary diseases.

Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge, skills, and practice of pulmonary APPs regarding the latest updates in guideline-directed, evidence-based medicine, therapeutic management, and strategies to improve health equity within their respective fields, ultimately, advancing the care of their patients.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Evaluate the latest advances in the treatment of pulmonary diseases
  • Integrate evidence-based strategies into practice for managing and individualizing the care of patients with pulmonary diseases
  • Develop collaborative strategies to close clinical gaps and improve health equity

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Partners for Advancing Clinical Education (PACE) and the Association of Pulmonary Advanced Practice Providers (APAPP). Partners for Advancing Clinical Education (PACE) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. 

Nursing Continuing Professional Development

The maximum number of hours awarded for this Nursing Continuing Professional Development activity is 6.0 contact hours, including 6.0 hours of pharmacotherapy credit.

Physician Associate Continuing Medical Education

Partners for Advancing Clinical Education (PACE) has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 6.0 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

IPCE Credit Designation

This activity was planned by and for the healthcare team, and learners will receive 6.00 Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits for learning and change.
