Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge and competence of nurse practitioner and physician associate learners regarding strategies to optimize uptake of RSV vaccination in adults.

Target Audience
This activity is intended for physician associates and nurse practitioners practicing in primary and specialty care who are involved in the care of older adults in need of RSV vaccination.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Assess patient risk factors for severe RSV disease

  • Incorporate the latest RSV vaccine data and recommendations into clinical practice

  • Develop strategies to ensure equitable uptake of RSV vaccination

Accreditation

In support of improving patient care, Partners for Advancing Clinical Education (PACE) is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Nursing Continuing Professional Development

The maximum number of hours awarded for this Nursing Continuing Professional Development activity is 1.25 contact hours, including 1.25 hours of pharmacotherapy credit.

Physician Associate Continuing Medical Education

PACE has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1.25 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim commensurate with the extent of their participation.
