Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge and competence of learners to optimize treatment for patients with follicular lymphoma.

Target Audience
This activity is intended for nurse practitioners, physician associates, clinical nurse specialists, and advanced degree nurses who manage patients with follicular lymphoma.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Initiate discussions with patients about novel therapies for relapsed/refractory follicular lymphoma, with an emphasis on differences between novel agents and considerations in treatment selection, including efficacy, safety, and patient- and disease-related factors

  • Apply clinical trial evidence, guidelines, and expert recommendations to formulate treatment plans with antibody-based therapies, CAR T-cell therapy, and epigenetic modifiers for patients with relapsed/refractory follicular lymphoma

  • Mitigate and manage adverse events associated with novel treatment regimens in relapsed/refractory follicular lymphoma, using guidelines and expert recommendations, as well as patient counseling to increase awareness of potential AEs

  • Discuss and apply strategies to help address barriers to patient enrollment in clinical trials, including barriers related to cost, geography, and healthcare disparities
