Goal Statement
The goal of this continuing education activity is to enhance knowledge, competence, and performance among nurse practitioners and physician associates regarding optimizing care for pediatric patients with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.

Target Audience
This activity is intended for nurse practitioners and physician associates who care for pediatric patients with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis, including those in dermatology, pediatrics, pediatric dermatology, family medicine, and allergy.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Design treatment plans for pediatric patients with moderate to severe AD that addresses the associated burden for patients and caregivers

  • Evaluate the data on available and emerging biologic therapies for pediatric moderate to severe AD

  • Employ shared decision-making into treatment decisions for pediatric patients with moderate to severe AD
