The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge, competence, and skills of learners in an effort to optimize screening, diagnosis, and treatment for children and adolescents with obesity.

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Apply strategies that promote productive conversations about pediatric obesity management with patients and caregivers

  • Implement current pediatric obesity guidelines to improve consistency in screening, diagnosis, and comorbidity assessment during routine clinical care

  • Develop individualized treatment and monitoring plans for pediatric patients with obesity based on the latest evidence, guidelines, and patient-specific indications
