Goal Statement
The goal of this program is to improve the knowledge, competence, and performance of learners in prioritizing obesity management, identifying patients who could benefit from pharmacologic treatment, and engaging patients in nonbiased discussions to achieve effective and sustained weight loss.

American Board of Internal Medicine Maintenance of Certification

Successful completion of this activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1.0 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity.
